I am now at Google.

Previously, I was a Beckman Postdoctoral fellow at the Beckman Institute at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

My main research interests are inverse problems in imaging. Specifically, I have been working on topics at the intersection of image processing, computer vision, compressive sensing, machine learning and computational photography. At the Beckman Institute, I was mainly working on problems in biomedical imaging, such as MRI, microscopy and EEG, and image/video processing with depth cameras.

I completed my Ph.D. in the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Department at Northwestern University in 2009. At Northwestern, I was a research assistant in the Image and Video Processing Laboratory directed by Prof. Aggelos Katsaggelos. I also worked at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with Prof. Khalid Sayood as a research scholar, and with Todor Georgiev during two internships at Adobe Systems.

My CV can be found here. (Last update: 03/02/2014)
